The Meritorious Foundation is excited to announce the launch of Ready, Aim, Empower, powered by the NRA Foundation. This program fills an important gap by welcoming a group often present but rarely included in formal firearms training, providing military spouses with the education, training, and confidence to safely and effectively participate in shooting sports.
NRA instructors lead small-group sessions with military spouses, covering firearm handling, range etiquette, and maintenance, followed by introductory competition-style drills. Participants receive CCW certification upon completion. Through our sponsors, participants also receive the rare opportunity to safely experience a variety of platforms and models before making any personal selection.
We are proud to share that Ready, Aim, Empower was recently featured by Pew Pew Tactical, highlighting the mission and expanding access to structured firearms training for military spouses.
