The Time is Now – Four Days of Giving
I’m reaching out to you directly because this moment matters.
As the Executive Director of the Idaho Veterans Chamber of Commerce, I see every day what happens when veterans and their families are navigating housing challenges across our communities. The need is real, it is growing, and it is not slowing down.
Through our Housing Services, we provide support that includes home repairs, access to safe and stable living conditions, and the development of workforce housing solutions, especially in rural Idaho where options are limited.
Right now, this work is at a critical point!!
We need immediate support to continue and expand these services. Without it, we will be forced to scale back efforts at a time when more veterans and families are reaching out for help.
This is not a future issue, this is happening now.
During Idaho Gives, I am asking you to take action by giving where your able to give even if it’s as small as $25.00, You can be the difference.
Your gift directly supports:
Significant Home repairs for Veterans and families
Workforce housing solutions
Expanded access to achievable and affordable housing across Idaho through our Tiny Homes Project
If you have ever considered supporting this work, this is the moment.
Thank you for being part of the solution, as we navigate ways to support the housing needs in Idaho, your support will make a difference.
Idaho Gives is a program of the Idaho Community Foundation and powered by ICCU designed to bring the state together, raising money and awareness for Idaho nonprofits. Donations can be collected from May 4-7, 2026. All donations will go towards IDVCC housing navigation services, which includes…
- Navigation towards resources and experience home purchasing experts to maximize VA Home Loan benefits.
- Home repairs to include internal and external.
- Navigation for assistance and stipends for housing.
- Tiny homes community project launch and capital campaign to create next step living options to continue down the pathway to purchase a home for formerly homeless Veterans.
- Free Sheds are given to Veterans and their families each year through a partnership with Home Depot, Idaho AGC, Paul Davis, and many more sponsors, donors, partners, and community members.
