We Invite you to attend the The National Veteran Business Development Council (NVBDC) “What is a Veteran” Presentation at the NGLCC International Business & Leadership Conference. Since THE “Bigger Discussion” panel in 2017, NVBDC has been advocating more collaboration and synergy with our NGO 3rd party certification partners.
We all have the same objective, create opportunities for our constituents. With the specific input and support of Fernando Hernandez of Microsoft, we have created a training presentation called: “What is a Veteran”.
The “What is a Veteran” presentation will directly address the Department of Defense (DoD) laws that determine if someone is a veteran or not. The Veterans Administration (VA) has their own rules to assign BENEFITS to people who have served, and they don’t necessarily follow the DoD laws.
We also review the three laws that created Service-CONNECTED disabled and Veteran owned businesses and other factors that determine a persons Veteran status.
The 2019 NGLCC International Business & Leadership Conference is the largest conference of its kind for the LGBT community business owners in the U.S.
The NVBDC “What is a Veteran” Presentation will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2:45 PM – 3:45 PM at the Tampa Convention Center (TCC) – Room 23 on the First Floor.
