Description:

According to the urban dictionary, the word SLAY means to kill it, to dominate it, and to nail it; to dream big and work hard until you own it; to impress greatly and to be on point!

While serving in the military, I created the word into an acronym attaching life and leadership philosophies that resonate with me the most to produce effective and successful desired results.

·        Stay Ready To Be Ready

·        Lead Out Loud

·        A Sense of Family/Community

·        You Are Built to Last

After serving 30 years in the Air Force, I use the acronym to help myself and others to take bold risks using these philosophies during their military transition and beyond.

During the discussion, I speak about the bold risks I’ve taken to inspire others to take bold risks too.
