Please join us, CTLDomGroup, Inc. for the Grand Finale of our 6 Month Campaign on Mental Health Awareness (Call to Action) and Suicide Prevention (Plan of Action) on April 15, 2023 at the Art Gallery located at the Maryland National Harbor.
About this Event:
It all started with a conversation concerning the number of military suicides, that we would Kick this campaign off in November 2022 with Survivors of Suicide Loss Day.
Survivors Suicide Loss Day inspired us to take a deeper look inside and in December we held a workshop sponsored by Give An Hour on Emotional Life Skills.
We started of the new year in January 2023, by holding a workshop to increase our awareness of our Benefits (NABVETS), keeping our belongings safe, physically and in the cloud (COHEN Security Consortium) and testing our Kayaking skills (River to Recovery) with Team River Runners.
February, we took all this momentum to the VFW for our 6th Annual Day on the Hill for an open discussion with our Veteran Service Organizations for a Call To Action.
In March, we marched on to Annapolis with the Women’s Caucus and Maryland General Assembly on Womens Veterans Day to put together a Plan of Action (way forward).
So now, on April 15th we plan to Gather Around Lively Art (GALA) to rest our minds and hold a space with art, food, & music. A GALA is a time for celebration. If you have been on this journey with us, we want to celebrate YOU. But rest assured, our work is not done.
