We are excited to welcome Shelly C. Rood as this year’s keynote speaker. A U.S. Army veteran and founder of Mission Ambition, LLC, Shelly is also the creator of the Others Over Self® leadership mindset and the architect of Be At Ease, Woman Veteran™, a peer support program for military women.
Her keynote, “Wilderness and Wildflowers: Naming the Language of Women Veterans,” weaves together storytelling, research, and the Wildflower Personality Assessment for Women Veterans™ to help attendees better understand their experiences and strengths. Through this session, women veterans will gain insight into navigating civilian life, making sense of their past, and embracing what lies ahead, while building deeper connections with themselves and one another.
